Rules of the airline

Introduction

Breizh'Air is a virtual airline opperating on the IVAO network, offering to every member the opportunity do fly and share they passion for aviation. The Breizh'Air members have to respect all this rules and regulations etablished by the airline and the IVAO network.

Article 1 - Registration

1.1 - Entry test

Every person wanting to join Breizh'Air airline have to fill the registration form and take a multiple-choice questionnaire (MCQ) consisting of 10 questions to assess their aviation knowledge. In case of failure, the training coordinator will contact you via email to schedule a voice interview to understand your motivations for joining the virtual airline and allow you to retake the entrance test. In case of a second failure, a waiting period of 2 weeks (from the date of the last attempt) will be imposed before a new attempt the test for the third time.

1.2 - Registration Form

Membership in Breizh'Air is open to all. Members must also accept the current rules and regulations of the company and the IVAO network. Members are required to provide accurate and complete information during registration, including their full name and email address.

Article 2 - Flights

2.1 - Activity

To establish their affiliation with Breizh'Air, a pilot must fly at least once within a 3-month period using their registered Breizh'Air callsign in the format BZHXXLL, received upon registration. Failure to provide a valid excuse will result in immediate expulsion. An exception is made in the summer period.

Breizh'air flight rules

When flying with their Breizh'Air callsign, pilots must adhere to IVAO rules and Breizh'Air regulations. All flights must be conducted on IVAO and recorded using the official IVAO tracker. Forms filled out on the IVAO website will not be considered. Flights performed with another virtual airline cannot be subject to a Breizh'Air flight report and will not count towards your Breizh'Air flight hours. Downloading liveries is highly recommended.

2.2.1 - Flight report

To log your Breizh'Air flight hours and miles, you must submit a flight report located in your pilot dashboard. The flight report must be submitted within 7 days after completing the flight. The date indicated in the report should be the departure date in UTC; otherwise, the report will be rejected, and the pilot must resubmit it with the corrected date. Departure and arrival airports must be written using their 4-letter ICAO codes; otherwise, the report will be rejected, and the pilot must resubmit it with the corrected airports. The pilot must include any controller instructions as direct clearances in the remarks section. After submitting your flight report, a one-hour waiting period is imposed before you can submit a new one.

2.2.2 - Report Validation

The correction of a report carries two types of sanctions if the flight does not comply with the rules outlined in Article 2: report rejection and warnings. Three warnings are accepted for the same rule; after that, if the same error is repeated, the report will be rejected without prior notice. In a report to be accepted without issues, the flight must not have the following errors:

Deviation of more than 5000 feet from the planned altitude in the flight plan without controller authorization: warning
Disconnection lasting more than 1 hour: rejection
Failure to maintain 250 kts below FL100 in airspaces D, E, F, and G for IFR and in airspaces C, D, E, F, and G for VFR: rejection
Not complying with the visual circuit integration procedure on uncontrolled airfield: rejection Uncompleted flight: rejection
No incursions into R P TRA zones (unless explicitly cleared by ATC): rejection

Specific scheduled flights rules: If a valid IFPS route is provided, you are free to use it or not; however, the route used must be consistent with all other regulations.

Article 3 - Activity

3.1 - Activity Minimums

Every Breizh'Air pilot must complete at least 1 flight every 3 months. The summer period will not be considered as a period of inactivity. In case of inactivity exceeding 3 months, and if the pilot is unable to provide a valid excuse, the pilot will be suspended from Breizh'Air without prior notice.

3.2 - Events

Breizh'Air may organize events and activities for its members. Members are encouraged to participate in these activities to promote the community and share their passion for aviation. Members can also organize events and activities, subject to prior approval from the events department.

3.3 - Ranks

Breizh'Air pilots can be promoted in the airline regarding of their seniority like this :

Article 4 - Communication

4.1 Discord

Breizh'Air members are encouraged to communicate with other members and share their activities within the company. The company may provide communication channels such as Discord to facilitate communication among members. Members must respect other members and avoid any inappropriate or offensive behavior while adhering to the official Breizh'Air Discord rules.

4.2 - Other networks

Breizh'Air pilots are free to publish and stream content related to Breizh'Air activities, provided that no IVAO and/or Breizh'Air rules are violated. If this rule is not followed, the pilot responsible for the content may be summoned by Breizh'Air staff to determine the consequences of the violation of this rule.
